This client’s home had one of our greatest joys. Throughtout the years, the homeowner has added, subtracted and adjusted her landscape to meet her needs.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY: Nestled in the rolling hills and horse country of Villanova, this unique home inspired our designers to bring bucolic elegance to this property. Lovingly designed to bring in native stone and hardy landscape materials, this property shines with understated beauty.

THE BEFORE: Prior to construction, this property was raw farmland with no clear landscape design. We were given the task to create spaces that carried you through the landscape like rooms.

OUR SOLUTION: Use of both drought tolerant and deer resistant plant material was key! We strived to minimize use of irrigation and plant material that would hinder deer damage. We also use native stone like Wissahickon schist and granite that would have been traditionally used on a home like this.
